Introduction Mobwa supports a community of users who add knowledge, define new kinds of knowledge, and control how everything gets connected and presented. That may sound complicated, but it turns out to be simple and intuitive. Top
What is Mobwa? At its core, Mobwa is a tool for adding, connecting, and navigating topics. Top
Types and Examples Information on Mobwa is organized into types and examples. Case in point: Pablo Picasso is an example of type Artist. San Francisco is an example of type City. You get the idea.
Basic Types and Examples Certain types called "basic types" were added at Mobwa's beginning. They include Date, Embed, Link, Number, Picture, Time, User, and Yes/No. Examples of basic types follow type-specific naming, presentation, and filtering patterns, and are called "basic examples".
Fields and Traits Of course, examples have more than just names. We know that every person has a birthday. So the field Date of Birth can be added to Person. Every example of Person then "inherits" this field as a trait. Since every value of Date of Birth must be a date, the field's type can defined as Date.
Entries Entries are the "correct values" entered for an example's traits. They are usually examples themselves. We have now traveled full circle around the Mobwa Universe.
